Creative Information Technology, Inc. Awarded the PLIMS contract with JWOD

Creative Information Technology Inc. (CITI) was awarded the contract with the JWOD Program for the development of the Procurement List Information Management System (PLIMS) .

Named for its enabling legislation (Javits-Wagner-O'Day Act of 1971 (41 U.S.C. 46-48c)), the JWOD Program is a mandatory source of supply for Federal employees. The JWOD Program is administered by the Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled (referred to as the “Committee”). Two national, independent organizations, National Industries for the Blind (NIB) and NISH assist State and private nonprofit agencies participate in the JWOD Program.

The PLIMS application will be a complete top-to-bottom, XML based, .NET, COTS workflow integration system to assist the “Committee” in facilitating guidance and due diligence of government purchases, to actually allowing government contracting officers make purchases and place orders.
