CRITI CITI Collaboration

In 2006, CITI set up a India operations office (CRITI) with the objective of diversifying in commercial IT market. Over the period of last couple of years CRITI has built a team and an operational platform which can be exploited by CITI with variety of objectives in mind such as

• Leveraging economies of scale
• Technology excellence
• Creating new IPs (intellectual properties)
• High quality management bandwidth
• Joint go-to-market strategy for geographies other than the US.

CITI and CRITI (the Indian operations) have been working in collaboration with each other in various areas like business strategy development, business planning, business development, internal operations management in the areas of Human resources, marketing and branding, and technology initiatives.

As an example, in support of building Global commercial IT business, CITI CEO and President, Mr. Sunil Kolhekar had accompanied the CRITI team to Belgium to give the confidence to the customer about the standing and the financial stability of the organization and providing the customer with the LC to add solidarity to the promise. Similarly, Shailesh Mohalkar (SAP Practice Director, NA) along with some other key members of the management at CITI are actively involved in business development for CRITI in commercial space. CITI would take active part in promoting Spectrum (a product developed by CRITI to address comprehensive needs of retail and distribution-led businesses), in the US market.

CRITI team is actively involved in complimenting Ramki’s efforts in building a biometrics practice globally. CRITI team supports this initiative through continued efforts in business strategy development, pre-sales, product development and business development.

In the area of HR, both the teams have collaborated whereby CRITI manages some of the critical HR functions like travel & training, and recruitment. In the area of Marketing and Branding, CRITI team has conceptualized, designed and developed the CITI web site. After the web site revamp has taken place, CRITI team would be involved in many such projects in future including making the web site dynamic and adding new functionality to the web site. CRITI would continue to build sales collateral and important presentation material for CITI on demand.

There are several joint development efforts being undertaken by CITI-CRITI teams together. Microsoft Sharepoint Server is one such technology area, wherein Mauro Binda (Director in CITI), is leading CRITI team in developing some useful business applications.
